Kelly has had quite the year! She started 2010 with the focus on her career and motherhood, then, very unexpectedly, she found and rekindled the love she had with her childhood sweetheart from our days in Saudi. In June, Kelly married Danny Simpton, and the three of them relocated to the Woodlands, Texas after an incredible wedding in Las Vegas with the whole family there! They have settled in to the Woodlands, Texas and are developing their family business: Commercial and Private Welding Services. They will be moving into a larger home this year as they are expecting our THIRD grandchild in June! Everyone is happy, healthy and we look forward to all the joys 2011 will bring!
Kari has reinvented herself in Seattle. She is currently doing contract law work and living with her significant other, Casey Milone. They are working on a startup which could be a major boon financially to their lives. We are proud of her new self and look forward to their continued success.
Keegan and Elisha continue to be great parents for their only child (so far, hint, hint!), Hudson, who is the apple of both sets of grandparents’ eyes. Elisha has managed to promote herself into a new job with a new company and with its new challenges. Keegan has excelled in his studies, athletics and being a great dad. We are so happy for them.
Kyle is enjoying life. He does have a significant other, Desta, and they have been very active in doing and seeing this part of the world, although now from a distance as Desta was transferred this year to Portland with Nordstrom. Kyle is working his way up the corporate ladder with Costco’s IT department and is a new home owner this year in North Bend, WA, only 2 blocks from his great grandmother's old house.
What a wonderful young lady Kevan has become. She took the move in stride, has become involved in all sorts of activities including basketball and a local church. We are so proud of her. |
Hudson is growing rapidly and changing by the minute. We see him almost every week and yet we see a step change each time with his development. He has gone from crawling to running at top speed. His vocabulary and sentence structure are changing by the second and we are enamored with his personality. |
